This Christmas season, the "Elder Elves of Parkersburg" are bringing some seasonal cheer with a Christmas-themed rock hunt in the community.
A total of 49 individually-numbered Christmas rocks have been hidden away outside in public areas and around businesses in a square radius ranging from Campbell-Mellema Insurance and Real Estate's location near Highway 14, south to Wemple Street, east to the Parkersburg Civic Center and north to the outer edge of Parkersburg's downtown business district on Railroad Street.
