Parkersburg Historical Home Gets New WindowsPARKERSBURG – It’s going to be another busy year at the Parkersburg Historical Home in 2020, with some renovations already underway and a 50th anniversary celebration planned for August.

Director Rick Gertsma recently sat down with the Eclipse News-Review to dish on the latest happenings at the home, which was built in the 1800s, and what visitors can look forward to in the months to come.

The windows in the tower, which hadn’t been worked on since the 1990s, have been replaced at a cost of $35,000, and Gertsma says the new ones will keep precipitation out while still looking great.
