Transfer Station Limiting Services

Allison, Iowa – In response to the evolving nature of COVID-19, the Butler County Solid Waste Commission has chosen to put the following measures for the Butler County Transfer Station into effect starting on April 1st.

The Transfer Station will ONLY be accepting household garbage from residential and rural customers. For businesses with an established charge account, the Transfer Station will continue to accept their materials. If you have questions about what is being accepted or for preapproval on anything other than household garbage, please contact the Transfer Station at 319-267-2070.

For the safety of our employees and the public, these precautions will help limit interactions and will be enforced until further notice. Transfer Station hours are 8 am-3 pm Monday thru Saturday.
