Everyone has troubles in life. For some, there are financial needs; some face depression, anxiety, anorexia, cancer, or other medical needs. Yet others are praying for a family member in need of salvation or for safe travels during the holidays. Whatever your needs are, a group of Aplington-Parkersburg students wants you to know that you have a God who loves you and a community that supports you.

The A-P high school student ministry, BASE, has placed 12 prayer request boxes at businesses throughout Aplington and Parkersburg. Those in need of prayer are welcome to write down their prayer requests. The students check the boxes each week. Led by seniors Jillian Simon and Sophia Jungling, the group of 15 students then gathers to pray.

They want community members to know that they are loved and to encourage them to prioritize their relationships with God.
