Purchased in the early 1990's Parkersburg Economic Development began looking to the future by securing land they couldeasily develop for commercial and industrial businesses.

Iowa State Bank occupies a lot(approximately 2 acres) for their new bank. Iowa State Bank expanded into Parkesburg in May of 2002.  The opening of the 4000(+) square foot new facility was in the
Spring of 2003.

In the Summer of 2002, Parkersburg received a RISE grant to assist in the cost of infrastructure for the park. In the Spring of 2003, roadways and water were put in.

In 2006, the Parkersburg Emergency Services and Fire Department constructed new facilities.

The following buisinesses have been established in the Park:  Redline Auto Body, Hwy 57 Auto Sales
& Service, Parkersburg Tire & Alignment.  Coming soon is Hansel Construction and Trees
Construction and Storage.

In 2009, Park Plaza was constructed with five suites for businesses to move into.  So far, three
suites are occupied, Suite C by US Cellular, Suite E by Parkersburg Family Dental and Suite B by Taylor Physical Therapy.  Suite A, 2988 sq. ft. is unfinished and priced so it can be finished to suit by owner.  Suite D, 1620 sq. ft. is ready for occupancy.
